In his other creative pursuits, he also previously excelled in the field of game design. In this regard, he served as a war game designer for six years, and he was a game designer for Edwin Schlossberg for three years prior. Additionally, Mr. Nosworthy served as a freelance instructional designer for 10 years. In accounting for his fulfilling career, Mr. Nosworthy has largely attributed his success to his unique methodology and commitment to academic research. As part of his vocational journey, he achieved a Bachelor of Arts in history at McGill University, where he also completed coursework toward a master’s degree. Mr. Nosworthy is particularly proud to have had a lasting impact on the field of military history thanks to his work as an author, and he looks forward to publishing more books in the coming years. With more than 45 years of professional experience to his credit, Brent Nosworthy has cultivated a fulfilling career as a multi-talented professional. Specializing as a creative scholar and an expert in military history, he currently serves as an author and military historian. Furthermore, he remains active as a civic-minded citizen, having long appreciated the importance of hands-on civil charity work. To wit, Mr. Nosworthy founded the Central Park Dance Skaters Association, a nonprofit organization based in New York City that focuses on charitable work via the arts. Over the course of his career, Mr. Nosworthy has boasted an impressive bibliography of published works, with his first book arriving in 1991, titled “Anatomy of Victory: Battle Tactics 1689-1763.” He subsequently authored “With Musket, Canon and Sword: Battle Tactics of Napoleon and His Enemies” in 1996, “The Bloody Crucible of Courage: Fighting Methods and Combat Experience of the Civil War” in 2003, and “Roll Call to Destiny: The Soldier’s Eye View of Civil War Battles” in 2008.
