Well-regarded as a community activist as well, Mr. Skevas co-founded the Astoria Business Association, and he continues to provide complementary financial services to those in need. Kyriacos Chris Skevas, CPA, is a graduate of Queens College of The City University of New York, where he obtained a degree in business administration and accounting. During his first job at a small CPA firm in Long Island, New York, he was an assistant to a senior CPA who had previously served as the chief executive officer of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Skevas learned a great deal from his company’s leadership and utilized his incredible knowledge to rapidly climb the ladder of success. Mr. Skevas continued his professional journey working with mid-sized CPA brands in Manhattan, where he excelled among his peers, thanks to his work ethic, sense of responsibility, and dedication to the fields of accounting, auditing and taxation. In parallel with his primary endeavors, he successfully earned his CPA license in 1988, as issued by the Education Department of The City University of New York.
