Since 2010, he has operated as the senior managing director of institutional sales and trading for Mesirow Financial Holdings Inc. In his leadership role, he manages several large accounts, serves as a salesperson and conducts research on investment market trends for customers. Mr. Cartwright previously worked as a partner for the head of taxable fixed income at William Blair & Company LLC from 1983 to 2010. Before beginning his career in 1969, he pursued a formal education, earning a BA at North Park College (now North Park University) in 1968. Ever committed to his work, he also remains affiliated with several organizations, such as the Municipal Bond Club of Chicago. Mr. Cartwright also remains dedicated to civic advocacy, having previously served with the Hinsdale Youth Center and the Hinsdale Community House Basketball Program for many years. Since 2016, she has served as the president and owner of MustardSeed Consulting, where she specializes in business and leadership coaching. Additionally, she continues to excel as the executive vice president for employee development at LMI Chicago. In these positions, Ms. De Coning specializes in growing people to reach their full potential in life, both professionally and personally. Before beginning her career, Ms. De Coning pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Commerce in industrial psychology, business and economics at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa in 1983. In addition to her academic credentials, she holds several certifications, including in coaching, leadership development, and sales and marketing. To commemorate her accomplishments, she was named LMI Sales Associate of the Year in 2021. In light of her fulfilling career, she largely attributes her success to her courage, tenacity and curiosity, as well as the support of her husband and now grown sons.
