75 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION Bolstered by more than 40 years of practiced expertise, Richard Bruce Cunningham Jr. has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of education. Specializing in religious education, he currently serves as a teacher at the Romanian Center for CrossCultural Studies in the state of Missouri. He previously served as the vice president of the organization for 20 years. In his current position, Mr. Cunningham provides regular four-hour classes and tutoring sessions for many students. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Cunningham excelled as the cofounder, secretary and international representative for the Romanian Pentecostal Foreign Missions Agency for 17 years. In his other professional endeavors, he worked with the World Assemblies of God Fellowship for many years, serving in several missionary and academic roles. In his own educational pursuits, he previously received higher education at Wheaton College, where he achieved a master’s degree in missiology in 1990. Adjacent to his primary professional duties, Mr. Cunningham continues to maintain his dedication to civic advocacy, regularly participating as a pastor at the Romanian Movement. Among his working endeavors, however, he finds the greatest joy in working with children as an educator, as he finds it largely rewarding to see them progress into young adults. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Cunningham has largely attributed his success to his determination and his faith. To wit, he is always determined to continue striving forward, regardless of how difficult the road ahead may appear. In accounting for his achievements, he is particularly proud to have cultivated a positive environment within the Romanian Center for CrossCultural Studies, which now features many young volunteers working in 27 countries around the world.
