Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Douglas actively contributes to the Atlanta Black Chambers Membership Committee Board, and she hosted the “Destiny Driven Radio” podcast from 2005 to 2015. She is also an accomplished author, with her motivational book, “Finding Your Passion in Life and Discovering Your Destiny in the Process,” gaining recognition in Amazing Women Magazine in 2015. Additionally, Ms. Douglas has served as the owner of Lorena’s Day Spa since 1982; the business was featured in Nail Pro Magazine in 1995. She also notably devoted eight years to the Archer Daniel Midland Bargaining Committee, earning the Mayor’s Award for Achievement as a Business Owner in 1995 and highlighting her commitment to business and community engagement. Drawing on over 30 years of experience, Victoria Maddocks has excelled as a graphic designer and creative director. A rarity in her field, she also has a deep understanding of multiple design disciplines, including architecture, merchandising and product design. This allows her to create compelling brand images across every touchpoint. She is the founder and creative director of the Maddocks Agency, a boutique agency specializing in ideating and launching brands from scratch. Prior to beginning her company in 2023, Ms. Maddocks was the senior vice president of creative at Topix Brands. She began her career as art director of South Beach Magazine, which led to her role as a senior designer for Gucci. Furthermore, she became a vice president and global creative director for Philosophy and for Kiehl’s Since 1851, where she took the brand from one shop in New York to over 100 stores in 35 countries. Ms. Maddocks holds a BA in graphic design from Northumbria University in her native England.
