Zwiker has cultivated a fulfilling career as a nutritionist and academic specialist, with more than three decades of professional experience to her credit. Specializing in school nutrition, nutrition analysis and efficiency, and aspects of nutrition finance, she recently joined the Chester County School District in South Carolina as the child nutrition director in 2022. In her leadership role, Ms. Zwiker manages the nutrition budget for the district, oversees various staff members, and conducts nutritional analysis to help in the curation of a unique menu for schools. Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Zwiker excelled as the child nutrition director of the Bamberg County School District from 2019 to 2022. Furthermore, she worked with the South Carolina Department of Education as an education associate from 2016 to 2019. Well-versed in environmental management and advocacy as well, she was a clinical supervisor and environmental health manager for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control from 2002 to 2016. At the onset of her vocational journey, Ms. Zwiker honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1992 to 1996 as an accounting technician and services specialist. She would later remain active in the Air Force Reserves until 1999. After exiting her military service, she pursued a formal education, originally earning a Bachelor of Science in physical education and health at the College of Charleston in 2000. Ms. Zwiker subsequently continued her studies at Webster University, where she achieved a Master of Business Administration in 2004. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Zwiker has largely attributed her success to her persistence and drive. Likewise, in accounting for her accomplishments, she is particularly proud of her ability to enter new positions and have an immediate impact by fixing problems and revitalizing different workspaces.
