Driven by her passion for her profession and an empathetic approach toward her patients, she has served as a partner physician at the Harbin Clinic since 2005, where she leverages her expertise accrued at numerous medical facilities throughout Georgia. Dr. Ammons is proud to have exercised her considerable skills in helping others and saving lives, finding gratification in being able to diagnose patients at an early stage in their affliction and prevent negative outcomes. She initially studied nursing at Columbus State University and later attended both Shorter University and the Mercer University School of Medicine, achieving an MD at the latter institution in 1992. Ever committed to her profession, Dr. Ammons is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Medical Association of Georgia. Looking ahead, she aims to continue educating others on achieving a healthy lifestyle and finding new ways to enjoy life and nature. Alan L. Ansell is a seasoned leader in the field of athletics administration and management. Leveraging nearly five decades of experience, he previously served as the director of the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) from 2006 to 2019. Now retired from his prior leadership role, he continues to operate as the exam chair of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association, a role he has otherwise held since 1993. At the onset of his career, Mr. Ansell worked at Bishop’s University as a coordinator of athletic facilities from 1976 to 2007. During this time, he was well-regarded for coaching women’s ice hockey for 20 years. A former student of Bishop’s University, Mr. Ansell completed coursework pertinent to his industry at the school in 1975. He also previously studied at Champlain College in Lennoxville Quebec. To commemorate his achievements, Mr. Ansell was honored as an Athletic Equipment Manager of the Year in 1996, and he was recognized with the Ray Alman Award from Bishop’s University.
