558 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Dr. Rasha Babikir has thrived as a sponsor and clinical research organization (CRO) relations manager with Cedar Health Research LLC since 2022. In these roles, she utilizes over two decades of experience in medical education to communicate with sponsors and CROs regarding study protocols and designs for clinical trials in their respective organizations; she ultimately works to determine the ethical viability of such decisions and their profitability. With her scientific background stretching back to 1999, when she first joined Ahfad University as a teaching assistant and medical tutor, Dr. Babikir has distinguished herself in both business administration and health care management. Dr. Babikir initially studied medicine at Ahfad University and attained a medical degree in 1999. Following this accomplishment, she earned an MBA at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2018. Outside of her primary endeavors, Dr. Babikir sits on the board of directors for the Texas Muslim Women Foundation, a nonprofit organization that seeks to combat domestic violence. She also maintains her affiliation with the National Association of Professional Women, the Islamic Medical Association of North America and the Society of Clinical Research Associates. He currently serves as a lead veterinarian at Town and Country Veterinary Clinic PLLC, based in Gulfport, Mississippi. The veterinary hospital is well-regarded in the local community and surrounding neighborhoods for providing clients with high-quality services in animal care and treatment. Ever committed to his profession, Dr. Beacham remains affiliated with the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association. In his adjacent civic-minded pursuits, Dr. Beacham continues to participate as a member of the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce. As part of his vocational journey, he also pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Attributing much of his success to his compassion for animals and their owners, he is particularly proud to have earned a great deal of respect from his fellow veterinarians for his dedicated work in the field.
