BRAVERMAN A dedicated medical professional with over three decades of excellence in internal medicine and clinical education, Dr. Braverman earned distinction as a hospitalist physician at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Stony Brook University Medical Center. He is a renowned clinical educator and expert diagnostician, and he has contributed to the education and training of thousands of medical students and residents. Dr. Braverman originally attended Columbia University before joining The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he achieved an MD in 1993 and completed his residency in 1996. Inspired by his father’s Army career and his experiences growing up near an Air Force base, Dr. Carter developed a passion for aeronautics and the physics principles behind the field. He served in the United States Air Force from 1962 until 1969, working as a physicist and analyst at Hanscom Air Force Base, and he enjoyed a 50-year civilian career working with some of the nation’s leading defense contractors. Dr. Carter holds an MS from the University of California, Davis and was awarded a PhD in applied physics and space science by Boston University in 1995. While at Boston University, he was recognized for his work in developing the most comprehensive model of the upper atmosphere to date. He spent 10 years as a physical scientist at Dugway Proving Ground and went on to become a beloved instructor at Utah Tech University and local community colleges.
