585 Millennium - Seventeenth Edition HOSPITALITY AND LEISURE Drawing on more than 15 years of experience, Nick C. Karamanos has cultivated a fulfilling career as an expert of the culinary arts. As part of his current professional ventures, he has operated as the executive chef and co-owner of Galloway Casual Dining in Galloway, New Jersey, since 2020. The local establishment is wellregarded in the community for providing clients and customers with highquality food, cocktails and service. Mr. Karamanos’ business has been recognized as a New Jersey toprated dining experience. Furthermore, his enterprise is grateful to be able to leverage the skills of many talented and seasoned individuals. In his leadership role, Mr. Karamanos oversees all daily operations, including preparing dishes and curating unique menu options in order to offer customers with unique taste palates on a regular basis. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Karamanos previously operated as a private chef for several years. Furthermore, he was the sous chef of Lucia in Manhattan. Ever committed to his profession, he is currently pursuing membership within the Professional Chefs Association of South Jersey. Adjacent to his primary duties, he also remains active as a civicminded citizen, regularly participating as a donor at local soup kitchens and volunteering with many charitable events at Greek Orthodox churches in Toms River, New Jersey. Mr. Karamanos pursued a formal education at The Culinary Institute of America, where he earned an associate degree in 2015. To commemorate his achievements, he was featured in New Jersey Free Press in 2022 and in Press of Atlantic City in 2020. Attributing much of his success to his passion, persistence and dedicated work ethic, as well as the support of his family, Mr. Karamanos is notably proud to have transformed his business into a modern staple of his community.
