Motivated by a desire to combine culinary artistry with an approach that enshrines health-conscious eating, Mr. Otenigbagbe previously served in high-level chef positions at a variety of restaurants and institutions, including NIBLL, Cookshop, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Tria Café, the Hattery Stove & Grill, and B.R. Guest LLC. Prior to these roles, he worked on behalf of Union Trust, Random Restaurants Ltd., Thomas Keller, the Glazier Group Inc. and Jean-Georges in 2000. Mr. Otenigbagbe notably began his career journey at the age of 16, whereupon he joined Dunkin Donuts. He went on to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked at several local restaurants, where he rose to management-level roles and learned the best practices in customer service. Having developed a genuine passion for food, he reoriented his priorities to culinary service and earned a grand diploma in culinary arts from the International Culinary Center in 2005. During this time, he benefited richly from the tutelage of various mentors, including Jacques Pépin, André Soltner and Alain Salignac. Mr. Otenigbagbe also attended culinary school for some time in France, and he is certified in nutrition and physical fitness by the International Sports Sciences Association.
