In her other civic-minded pursuits, Ms. Vergari has also maintained her activity with her local Rotary Action Group Against Slavery since 2017 and the Selective Service System Board since 2018. To commemorate her achievements, Ms. Vergari has been honored with several accolades over the course of her career, including The Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge and Pioneer Woman of the Year from the City of Los Angeles, 11th Council District. Most recently, she was inducted into the Rotary International District 5280 Hall of Fame for leadership, guidance and dedicated service. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Vergari has largely attributed her success to her dedicated work ethic. While she is proud of all her professional accomplishments, she is most proud of her two sons, Chase and Ryan. many students. Additionally, between 1974 and 1975, she was a member of the dance faculty at Cuesta Community College and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. At the onset of her career, Ms. Vergari was a teacher and coach at South Torrance High School between 1966 and 1967. She later joined Rolling Hills High School from 1967 to 1974. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Vergari cultivated her own higher education. Originally attending the University of Southern California, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1967; she also earned a teaching credential from her alma mater the same year. Later deciding to pursue her career as a legal professional, she continued her studies at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law and achieved a JD in 1996, ranking fifth in her class among 110 graduates.
