Having held an interest in law from a young age, he found success early in his career, serving as an attorney in law offices across Oregon before opening JM Ford Law Office in 2008. As a lawyer, Mr. Ford has navigated the courtrooms on the sides of both plaintiff and defense, but his true specialty lies in contract and business law. Known for his skill in drafting agreements, he strives to foster equitable outcomes for all parties involved and prides himself on the integrity he provides for his clients. At JM Ford Law Office, he provides legal counsel on corporate contracts, transactions and acquisitions, primarily serving clients in the electronic payment industry. In more recent years, the firm has extended its services to clients in marijuana and cryptocurrency, exercising their versatile skills in new and developing industries. With extensive experience working with both law firms and in the corporate environment, Mr. Ford has demonstrated remarkable versatility throughout his career. To wit, he has overseen contract reviews for NASA, established in-house legal departments for insurance companies, and managed multiple departments as an executive vice president and chief legal officer at Vero. Through these experiences, he gained expertise in regulatory landscapes across various industries, blending his legal acumen with a sharp business sense to serve clients across different sectors. Committed to remaining immersed in new industry developments, Mr. Ford maintains his membership in the ATM Industry Association, as well as the Oregon State Bar Association.
