This firm later merged with and became the Fort Lauderdale office of what is now one of the largest law firms in Florida. Mr. Kronengold subsequently evolved from a litigator into a versatile businessman and general counsel with Centerline Homes. As the company's first general counsel, he rapidly mastered the intricacies of employment law, real estate finance and contract drafting, thereby establishing the firm’s robust legal structure. His oversight extended seamlessly to the human resources department, forging direct connections with all operating groups and affirming his role in legal decision-making. In the future, Mr. Kronengold, along with his business partner at TDON Development, will explore innovative ways to deliver affordable housing for communities, particularly in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jeffrey L. Kronengold entered the real estate industry by becoming the executive vice president and general counsel for Centerline Homes Inc. in 2004. During this time, he was the company's top legal advisor, in addition to earning his status as the company’s “risk manager.” In this role, he was entrusted with the company’s transactional processes and offered strategic recommendations regarding the acquisition and finance of real estate property, restructuring the company's insurance, and acquisition agreements and contracts related to purchasing and selling land, completed homes and warranties. Mr. Kronengold assisted in Centerline Homes’ substantial expansion and earned its welldeserved recognition as one of the nation's preeminent homebuilding companies at the peak of its success. This growth led to the successful sale of the company and its affiliates to a national homebuilder in 2013. After this sale, Mr. Kronengold formed a new business, TDON Development Inc., with one of his former partners. Their skill in identifying and capitalizing on land purchasing opportunities and optimizing the value of land assets has earned TDON Development a valued reputation as a land acquisition and development company.
