In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Kruse is also fully licensed to practice law, as recognized by the Indiana Supreme Court. At the onset of his career, Mr. Kruse completed several professional internships in project engineering and construction, and he clerked for Tabbert Hahn Earnest & Weddle LLP during law school and Judge Kincaid of the Boone Superior Court 1 after graduating. Initially, he hoped to build a career in construction law, spending six years as a facilitator for residential mortgage foreclosure settlement conferences in the Boone County Circuit Court and Superior Court 1. Mr. Kruse joined Giddings, Whitsitt, & Williams, P.C., in 2013 and later became a partner of Whitsitt Nooning & Kruse, P.C. In 2019, he opened Kruse Law LLC, after recognizing that his goals would be better served outside of a traditional firm. Mr. Kruse was elected to serve in the Lebanon City Court beginning in 2024, where he helped to re-establish the formerly dormant court and oversees ordinance violation and infraction cases. While he remains active in his private practice as an attorney, he has also developed a new appreciation for the intricacies of courtroom proceedings and hopes to rise to become a county court judge. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Kruse attributes his success to his perseverance in the face of adversity and feels that being a trusted and established member of his community is one of his greatest accomplishments.
