Grais began his television writing career with police dramas like “Starsky and Hutch” and the Emmy-winning “Baretta.” Alongside Steven Spielberg, he co-authored the classic American supernatural horror film, “Poltergeist,” and its sequel, “Poltergeist II.” Beyond the silver screen, Mr. Grais delved into production, overseeing the 1989 biopic “Great Balls of Fire!” starring Dennis Quaid. Simultaneously, he left his mark on television with “Visitors in the Unknown,” a 1991 television special documenting extraterrestrial encounters that continues to captivate audiences through Amazon’s streaming platform, Amazon Prime. Undeterred by industry demands, Mr. Grais has seamlessly transitioned between television and cinema, achieving success with “Marked for Death,” alongside Steven Segal. He continued his impact as a script doctor, refining narratives for various cinematic projects. Furthermore, his expertise extended to three low-budget independent films, demonstrating his ability to weave compelling stories in diverse landscapes. With these many successes to his credit, Mr. Grais looks forward to retiring in the coming years, though he still retains his creative spark. PROFESSIONAL ARTIST, OWNER Hair and Gallery Guys & Dolls Germantown, WI Frank J. Hoeffler has cultivated a fulfilling career as an artist and entrepreneur, drawing upon over five decades of professional experience. Classically trained in multiple artistic mediums, including realism, impressionism and expressionism, he has been working as a professional artist since 1971. Since then, he has featured his work in numerous exhibitions and studios, notably opening for shows in the SoHo and Chelsea regions of New York City. Adjacent to his primary artistic endeavors, Mr. Hoeffler has also excelled as the owner of Hair and Gallery Guys & Dolls, his hair salon and gallery located in Germantown, Wisconsin. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Hoeffler honorably served in the United States Air Force for several years. He also pursued a formal education, studying at the Peck School of the Arts of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and earning a bachelor’s degree in fine and studio arts in 2003. In his other academic ventures, he previously served as an art educator, teaching adult oil painting classes. To commemorate his achievements, Mr. Hoeffler was recognized as a Top 60 International Master Artist by ArtTour International Publications Inc. in 2022. FRANK J. HOEFFLER
