In 2017, he also produced a documentary, “Born To Lead: The Sal Aunese Story,” which chronicles the tale of the University of Colorado’s first Samoan quarterback, who led his team to a national championship. Mr. Bigelow attributes his success to being surrounded by outstanding leaders, mentors and team members, as well as his academic background in business administration. Looking to the future, he aspires to help the Fort Lewis Foundation expand the scope of its operations and establish relationships with global entrepreneurs. Leveraging four decades of expertise in business strategy, Curt R. Bigelow has distinguished himself as the managing director of MBO Consulting. Responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of more than 40 employees, he travels around the world to form partnerships with foreign countries and identify core competencies for revenue generation, such as the construction of factories, for the purpose of paying for investments in weapons systems. Prior to the establishment of MBO in 2023, Mr. Bigelow served as the managing director of PwC, the chief operating officer of Big Dunks LLC, and a partner at Accenture, beginning in 2000. Previously, he worked for 20 years within the aerospace and defense industry at the Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he specialized in business development, finance, engineering, information technology and communications. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Bigelow is proud to have constantly availed himself on behalf of his community. To wit, he is gratified to have planned and produced various fundraising events in the wake of the Columbine High School massacre in 1999, including a live Christmas show that drew more than 15,000 participants.
