Prior to beginning his professional endeavors, he honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972, during which time he completed a tour of duty in the Vietnam War. He ultimately achieved the rank of staff sergeant prior to his military retirement. To further commemorate his military achievements, he was once named the Airman of the Month at the Andrews Air Force Base. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Moore pursued a formal education, achieving a Bachelor of Science in business and marketing from High Point University (previously High Point College). While he is grateful for his many professional accomplishments, he is particularly proud to be a father to his son and daughter. Looking to the future, Mr. Moore hopes to continue in his various charitable ventures, with his mind focused on sharing his experiences and giving back to those in need. Leveraging over four decades of professional experience, Ronald “Ron” Moore is a proven expert in the field of business administration. Now retired from full-time work, he previously excelled as the assistant director of marketing, facility operations and management for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services from 2005 to 2022. In this role, Mr. Moore oversaw operations and budgetary objectives for the department, notably participating in the management of state events, such as several farmers markets, three agricultural centers and the North Carolina Mountain State Fair. Originally beginning his career in 1976, Mr. Moore has previously worked with many other notable companies, including BizLife Magazine, Showplace LLC and Thomas Built Buses Inc. To wit, he worked with the lattermost brand from 1976 to 2000, beginning as a sales administrator and eventually rising to a position as the director of sales support and marketing. Furthermore, Mr. Moore served the city of High Point, North Carolina, as an elected councilman from 1998 to 2001.
