Having begun his career as a fundraising counsel at Ketchum Inc., Mr. Johnson subsequently served as a chief advancement officer at Houghton College, Niagara University and the College of Idaho. A published author and well-regarded maven in effective fundraising, he has been named as one of America’s Top 25 Fundraising Experts in the nonprofit fundraising field and as one of the Top 15 Most Effective Fundraising Consultants in the United States by the Wall Street Business Network. Likewise, his book won first place on two occasions in the business and finance category at the North American Book Awards. Possessing a sincere desire to help others succeed, Rachel M. LaFollette has excelled as an executive and entrepreneur. After earning a bachelor’s degree in business at Colorado State University in 2008, she worked as a marketing communications manager for a global business unit at Hewlett Packard, where she previously worked as an intern in college. She subsequently accepted a director of marketing position at Madwire LLC in 2012 and then served as the company’s chief customer officer from 2013 to 2022. In 2022, Mrs. LaFollette founded Orca Business Consulting LLC, where she utilizes her extensive marketing and leadership experience to help other leaders and businesses thrive. She provides brand development services, leadership coaching, and customer retention consulting. During her first year in business, she helped launch 17 brands. Among her many professional achievements, Mrs. LaFollette affirms that “Child of God” and “Mama” are her most important titles. With a heart for helping children and animals, she has helped manage a program supporting local foster children since 2017 and supported several animal welfare organizations.
