EDUCATION Outside of her professional efforts, Dr. Lorenzo sits on the board at Myra’s Angels Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides support and comfort to the homeless community. She is also a member of the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success and the International Alliance of Women, who inducted her into their VIP Women of the Year Circle in 2016. In accounting for her success, Dr. Lorenzo credits her religious faith, which has given her the strength to fight for justice and help others. Likewise, she is grateful to have been imbued with impeccable time management skills, tenacity and a keen ability to prioritize tasks. Looking toward the future, Dr. Lorenzo hopes to finish law school and eventually run for Congress. Furthermore, she hopes to open a physical location for the i20 Academy where she can offer courses on entrepreneurship, graphic design, animation, filmmaking, music production, youth leadership, science, technology, engineering and mathematics. in revenue to millions of dollars and expanding their reach outside their local communities. Well-regarded for her expertise, Dr. Lorenzo became a published author in 2020 with her work, “Get It Done: The Journey to Entrepreneurship from Idea to Open.” Filled with stories regarding mistakes made by both herself and her clients, the book serves as a playbook toward cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, defining a niche, and discovering one’s customer base. The book notably served as Dr. Lorenzo’s impetus to establish the i20 Entrepreneur and STEAM Academy; during her first year of law school, she met a man who encouraged her to teach the principles in her book to high school students. Currently pursuing a JD, Dr. Lorenzo initially studied criminal justice and law enforcement administration at the University of Phoenix, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in 2014. She went on to attain a Master of Business Administration in 2016 and a Doctor of Management in 2020. She has also been certified as a behavioral research investigator by the CITI Program in 2022.
