She has continued her studies at the University of North Texas and Albany University and is currently in the process of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In recognition of her achievements, Ms. Hendricks has been presented with many honors, including a 2007 Behavioral Management Award. She credits her success to her dedication and her desire to see her students succeed. Furthermore, she emphasizes the need for patience and longterm goals. Within the next decade, she hopes to begin an independent business offering multiple programs, including a daycare. Outside her work in special education, Ms. Hendricks remains active as a donor to Habitat for Humanity and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She is also deeply dedicated to aiding a local hospital named after her grandmother, Annarell Sprinkle, which helps children with cancer. For over 25 years, Mallory A. Hendricks has dedicated her career to helping students find success as a special education teacher and behavioral interventionist. She originally discovered her passion for special education after working one-on-one with a child with high support needs. After the child’s therapist encouraged her to work collaboratively with small groups of children with special needs, Ms. Hendricks recognized her innate talent. She currently operates as a special education itinerant teacher at E & D Children’s Center, a provider of special education services to preschool-aged students. Ms. Hendricks began her professional journey as an early intervention teacher, SEIT (special education itinerant teacher), applied behavioral analysis therapist, and lead teacher to other ABA providers at another agency where she is still currently employed. During this time, she helped students make significant progress in developing emotion regulation and verbal communication skills, which further cemented her drive to continue in the field. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to helping children with special needs reach their full potential. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Hendricks cultivated her own higher education, earning a double master’s degree at Touro College in special education and early childhood MALLORY A.
