In addition to his military and academic credentials, he holds several pertinent certifications, including a professional engineer license in Ohio and Kentucky and a teaching certificate in Ohio. In his civic-minded pursuits, Mr. Harden notably dedicated himself to serving as a Capri 26 technical editor for the Catalina Mainsheet Magazine from 2007 to 2015. He is also wellregarded for his efforts as a member of the Clearcreek Township Planning Commission from 2011 to 2019. Furthermore, he was a Warren County representative for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources during the design of the Caesar Creek Marina between 2011 and 2015; his accomplishments in this role earned him recognition from the county and the International Order of the Blue Gavel. Drawing on nearly five decades of experience, Claude “Art” Harden has distinguished himself as an expert in the field of commercial development. Well-versed in business leadership and engineering, he has served as the president of Calibre Engineering Inc. since 1998. As part of his duties serving at the head of his company, Mr. Harden oversees a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, from project management to client relations. Much of his company’s work pertains to commercial property development, with prior projects including work for brands such as Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Kohl’s and many others. Mr. Harden previously excelled as an associate partner of Woolpert from 1988 to 1998. He also worked with Terra Venture in Overland Park, Kansas, as a commercial developments construction manager from 1986 to 1989. At the onset of his career, he operated with various engineering firms in Atlanta from 1976 to 1986. Ever committed to his field, Mr. Harden remains affiliated with several pertinent organizations, including the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Before beginning his vocational journey, Mr. Harden honorably served in the United States Navy between 1967 and 1971.
