Originally from India, she relocated to the United States where she switched careers to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University. Utilizing over 14 years of experience as a critical care nurse, she has worked across a diverse array of hospitals ranging from prestigious level-one trauma academic hospitals to community centers. In 2021, Dr. Dharman joined Kaiser Permanente as a nurse manager, overseeing one of San Francisco's largest COVID-19 vaccination campaigns. She then quickly ascended to her current role as an assistant director of nursing and clinical practice, concurrently completing a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of St. Augustine in 2023. Dr. Dharman recently broadened her portfolio by also assuming the role of director of eye care, overseeing both ophthalmology and optometry. She is dedicated to upholding exceptional standards of patient care, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Recognized for her leadership abilities, she was honored with the 2023 Excellence in Interprofessional Collaboration Award from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
