98 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Mr. Siebum is a respected voice in the audio industry, having been featured in OC Weekly, The Press Tribune, The Village Voice and the St. Louis Riverfront Times. He was also interviewed for “Beyond Sound,” a book on music technology education written by Scott L. Phillips and published by Oxford University Press. Notably, he was recommended by Disney for an Emmy for his exemplary work on “Star Wars: Visions.” Although he was not nominated, Mr. Siebum appreciated Disney’s recognition of his skills. In the coming future, Mr. Siebum plans to be involved in more film and television productions and is actively searching for stimulating and innovative projects. Specifically, he is interested in collaborating with directors and filmmakers who produce high-quality and innovative works. In addition, he will continue guiding students at San Francisco State University and mentoring future industry leaders. For over 20 years, Doug Siebum has excelled in film and audio production. In addition to his work as an audio engineer and sound editor for Outpost Studio SF — a recording studio in San Francisco — he is a lecturer at San Francisco State University. As an educator, Mr. Siebum imparts his industry knowledge to students of the broadcast and electronic communication arts department, which encompasses radio, television and film programs. His other responsibilities range from sound production for television and film to teaching entertainment business classes. Currently, his focus is on media entrepreneurship. While pursuing an Associate of Arts in audio production at Sacramento City College. Mr. Siebum worked as an audio engineer for The Studio Theatre. He subsequently earned a Bachelor of Arts in digital media arts and audio recording at California State University, Dominguez Hills. While studying at California State University, he also worked as a sound editor at PerreoRadio.com. Likewise, he was a radio DJ for his school’s radio station. Mr. Siebum ultimately achieved a Master of Arts in broadcast and electronic communication arts at San Francisco State University in 2015.
