As a part of her commitment to serving her patients in diverse and holistic ways, she is currently working toward credentials as a licensed clinical social worker and has pursued professional development from Dr. John Gottman, a pioneering relationship and family therapist. Ms. Perrault began her career in 2007 as a family support worker, specializing in child care coordination for NEKCA PCC. In 2013, she pivoted to the public sector as a social worker for the state of Vermont, where she would remain until 2018. Throughout her career, Ms. Perrault has worked in a broad range of clinical settings, including as an admissions coordinator for Maple Leaf Farm Associates and a counselor for BAART Programs. She entered private practice in 2017 as the owner of Natalie Perrault Counseling Services LLC, which rebranded to Embrace Your Journey LLC in 2019. Ms. Perrault also remains active in her community and an advocate for her profession, and she is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Furthermore, she is proud to be a longtime member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and to have been one of the first women to join her local chapter. Within the next ten years, Ms. Perrault hopes to grow her practice to include several other clinicians and open a second branch in South Carolina. The business recently began offering clients eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy services. She is honored to be a part of her clients’ personal journeys and emotional growth, and she is committed to a therapeutic approach that honors individual differences and histories. Operating in psychology comes as second nature to Natalie Jean Perrault. Since 2007, she has dedicated her career to supporting others through challenges as a therapist and social worker specializing in working with clients with complex trauma histories.
