Born in Hong Kong, China, she began her career with EY, where she took early inspiration and leadership lessons from a professional mentor within the company, who advised her to surround herself with individuals she could learn from. She moved on to become an associate of a major digital equipment firm and served as a regional financial controller for a global high-end fashion brand, earning a reputation for excellence in navigating the special concerns of international business and becoming a subject matter expert in the needs of different industries. Since 2008, Ms. Ho has been an independent CPA, working under the alias Pauline Ho CPA, alongside her work with Laus Consulting Services LLC, where she specializes in helping small business owners navigate cash flow, financial planning and tax accounting.
