He previously served as senior vice president, senior portfolio manager and financial advisor at Morgan Stanley from 2014 to 2023. He worked as a financial advisor for retail clients, including retirees, professionals and small business owners. Now retired from full-time work, he was hired by Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) to teach personal finance as an adjunct professor. Prior to beginning his career, Mr. DeLong earned a BA in English and economics and business administration at Westminster College and an MBA at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He remains a member of the board of directors of the OTC Foundation and the finance, economics and risk management department advisory board of directors at Missouri State University. He previously served as a publicly elected trustee on the board of trustees at OTC, serving two years as chairman. Mr. DeLong was honored with Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisor Program every year of the award program from 2018 to 2023. An accomplished certified public accountant and business owner, Franco A. Folgado celebrates 25 years of professional success. In his pursuit of a formal education, he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Universidad Fraternidad de Agrupaciones Santo Tomás de Aquino in his home country of Argentina. Afterward, he immigrated to the United States and attended the University of St. Thomas, where he received a Master of Business Administration, as well as master’s degrees in international business and management information systems. Throughout his career as an accountant, Mr. Folgado worked in different parts of the world, including the United States, Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia. Founding Cosmos Chemical in 2014, he expanded his career from finance to entrepreneurship. As a business owner and chief financial officer, he hopes to expand the company organically and through acquisitions in other states, with a focus on renewable energy and real estate.
