She attended Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a Master of Science in structural engineering, and she began her career working with M3 Engineering and Technology in 2008. Ms. Templeton joined Gannett Fleming Inc. in 2014, working as a project manager and project engineer for structural engineering projects until 2021 when she became the office principal. Since 2024, she has excelled as a vice president of the firm, overseeing daily operations, scheduling and project management, in addition to remaining active in technical work. Ms. Templeton has been recognized throughout the industry for her commitment to excellence and early-career achievement. To wit, she has been recognized with the 2020 Young Engineer of the Year Award and a 2023 Civil Engineer Distinguished Service Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers. As a part of her commitment to her professional growth, Ms. Templeton is the president-elect of the American Society of Civil Engineers in Arizona, where she previously served in many board positions. Accounting for her accomplishments, she credits her success to the support of her family and the guidance of her professional and academic mentors, who provided her with clarity on her path and encouraged her to pursue her dreams. Ms. Templeton looks forward to continuing to develop as a manager and leader and hopes to attain additional engineering credentials in California, Nevada and Hawaii in the coming years. Stephanie M.
