Outside of his primary professional endeavors in the financial sector, Mr. Wisse is a fifth-degree black belt, having studied martial arts for more than 30 years. John C. Wisse is a financial executive and corporate finance expert celebrating more than 30 years of success in the field. He realized his interest in finance after taking an accounting class in high school, and he was subsequently encouraged to pursue a career in the field by his teacher. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from William Paterson University and a Master of Business Administration in corporate finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Wisse is fully certified as a public accountant (CPA), management accountant (CMA) and project management professional (PMP). Mr. Wisse began his career working with KPMG International for three years, followed by a decade at AT&T, where he worked on various projects, including funding for the Telstar satellite launch. He joined the Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated in 1999, serving as a business planning manager for several teams until 2015, including the corporate planning, valuation and analysis group.
