Afterward, he went on to serve as a specialist with DaimlerChrysler, now known as the Mercedes-Benz Group, until 2004. Mr. Nance joined Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama as a quality specialist in 2004 and subsequently climbed through the company’s ranks to become a quality control assistant manager in 2006, quality control assistant manager of equipment and VPC quality analysis in 2012, and lead quality control assistant manager in 2013. He has maintained his current position as a lead quality control assistant manager for the company since 2023. Looking to the future, Mr. Nance aims to obtain certification in quality engineering and a master’s degree in power electronics.
