VANDEMOTTER Leveraging more than four decades of professional experience, Peter A. VandeMotter has cultivated a rewarding career in the field of engineering. Specializing in electrical engineering, particularly pertaining to electrical systems for buildings and highways, he has served as a senior electrical engineer for SPAAN Tech Inc. since 2019. Prior to his current appointment, he held a similar position at Gandhi and Associates Inc. from 2012 to 2019. In the early stages of his career, Mr. VandeMotter worked with Sterling Engineering Inc. in 1994, and between 1994 and 1995, he was a quality control manager for Pickus Construction. Ever committed to his profession, he also remains affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Before beginning his career, he earned a BSEE at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1977. In his adjacent civic-minded efforts, Mr. VandeMotter has dedicated himself to numerous charitable events with the Lake County Forest Preserves since 2012. Outside of his primary duties, he also maintains his fondness for photography. Attributing his success to a love for knowledge, John Stephen Werner has distinguished himself as an electromagnetic compatibility engineer at IBM. In this capacity, he designs and develops computer servers, ensures that products meet acceptable industry standards before going to market, and works to prevent disruptive product emissions from interfering with other electronic systems. Well-regarded for his accomplishments, Mr. Werner has received numerous accolades, including the 32nd Invention Plateau Award, an Invention Development Team Award, an Outstanding Innovation Award, several Manager’s Choice Awards, two Eminence and Excellence Awards, and a First Patent Application Award. He was also hailed as an IBM Master Inventor in 2018, among other honors to his credit. Long guided by a creative impulse, Mr. Werner was encouraged to take up engineering by his aunt after graduating from high school. Following the conclusion of his studies at SUNY New Paltz, his exemplary engineering skills were recognized by IBM, where he accepted his role in 2010.
