She currently serves as the president and managing director of Nobeltex-GIES, a prominent, Egypt-based enterprise regarded as one of the best agencies in the market for providing high-quality textile machinery and accessories. The business is also known for providing services to both air conditioning and fire protection systems. In her leadership position, and throughout much of her career as well, Ms. El Gammal has largely specialized in business management and sales. As part of her duties in the field, she aids in delivering and inspecting her international suppliers’ products, in addition to providing a variety of personalized after-sales services. Growing up in Egypt, Ms. El Gammal learned a great deal about the textile industry first hand from her father, an engineer and pioneer in the fields of spinning and weaving in the country. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Ms. El Gammal excelled as a student, with her sights set on a career in engineering, hoping to follow in the footsteps of her father. To this end, she earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Alexandria University in 1963, and she subsequently achieved a master’s degree in the same field of study in 1968. Upon graduating from her alma mater, Ms. El Gammal worked as a chemical engineer with various publicly owned textile companies. At the onset of her career, she served the National Spinning and Weaving Company on the production line at a dyeing and bleaching mill. She later joined the Misr Rayon Company for several years, during which time she partook in special training initiatives in Russia after being chosen from among more than 30 fellow engineers. After exiting her position at Misr Rayon a few years later due to personal reasons, Ms. El Gammal briefly operated as a chemistry and physics instructor at the French schools Notre Dame de Sion and College de la Mere de Dieu. She would later join her father's private agency business to formally begin her extraordinary journey in the industry.
