317 Millennium - Seventeenth Edition ENTREPRENEURS Ms. Golden opened the Floating Lotus Therapeutic Spa & Health Center (www. floatinglotusspa.com) in 2005, a therapeutic health spa with a mission to help the community with pain management. As part of her business endeavors, she discovered NASA’s research into far infrared; this was subsequently developed further by a Korean company that then created the Far Infrared Biomat, which helps with pain management. Her therapeutic spa won Best of Florida Spas in 2023 and 2024, having inspired and helped thousands of people and causes through her counseling, consulting and missionbased business throughout the years. To commemorate her archeological and conservation contributions, Ms. Golden was inducted into the prestigious Explorer’s Club in 2011. She remains active in her missions and involved with many conservation organizations to this day. Likewise, she has served as a mentor for many and continues her lifework to make a difference in the world. Ms. Golden became a fine art and antiquities appraiser in the early 1990s. Likewise, she became the chapter president of the Palm Beach/Fort Lauderdale International Society of Appraisers and created Renaissance Appraisals Ltd. in 1995. She has since developed a reputation for excellence in fine art appraising, providing her unique skills and services for institutions such as the Tampa Museum of Art, Sarasota Museum of Art, Ringling Museum, The Harn Museum of Art, the Florida Museum of Natural History, The Government House and the Lightner Museum of Art in St Augustine. In 1997, Ms. Golden opened the Lost Art Gallery (lostartgallery.com), a consignment-based gallery curating museum-quality works from antiquity to contemporary art out of the need of the community. As a result, she has helped many individuals relinquish their collections to assist families with needed resources. Additionally, she extended her love of the ocean by opening Sea Spirits Galley (seaspiritsgallery. com) in 2012, a sea-inspired gallery that benefits Turtle Conservancy, Ocean.org and Water.org. Both galleries were featured in Southern Living Magazine as the editor’s choice of “The Hidden Treasures of St Augustine.” Both galleries were also chosen as Best of Florida Gallery and Best Regional Gallery in 2023 and 2024.
