As such, she successfully launched Edify Elite Extensions in 2024; the hair extension wholesaler boasts a clientele of various salons and individual hairstylists. In the near future, Mrs. Whitlock is poised to open the Edify Head Spa and Trichology Lounge, where scalp health and hair loss will be the focus. For Mrs. Whitlock, the crucial pieces of her business model are hiring, caring for others, and collaborating with her team. Originally from Thailand, Mrs. Whitlock received a cosmetology license from the Lake Forest Beauty College in 2005, with the goal of one day opening her own salon. Since 2005, she has worked in a variety of salons in California and Tennessee, including Artistry Salon in Dana Point, California; Salon Palisades in Capistrano Beach, California; and Rumors Salon in Johnson City, Tennessee. With a passion for giving back to her community, Mrs. Whitlock regularly volunteers with her local Lasagna Love, where she gifts a lasagna a month to local families.
