Decker has helped tourists and families find adventure as the owner of several RV dealerships and service centers. Since 2016, he has been the president and chief executive officer of Airstream of Utah and Airstream of Wyoming, dealerships specializing in the iconic Airstream coaches and trailers. Likewise, he holds similar leadership positions at the Grand Buffalo RV Resort, a luxury RV property located in Star Valley, Wyoming. Mr. Decker entered the RV industry after finding success in the tech sector as a territory manager for Triad Systems Inc. Looking for a respite from the constant travel and stress required by the high-stakes position, he launched Arrowhead RV Sales and Service in 1996, capitalizing on the unmet needs of the RV tourist market in Cody, Wyoming. Despite its location in one of Wyoming’s smallest cities, the dealership grew to become the second highest-grossing RV dealer in the state and was recognized by several manufacturers as a customer service leader thanks to Mr. Decker’s savvy business strategy and commitment to fair pricing and quality. He ran Arrowhead RV Sales and Service until 2000 and returned to executive roles over the next decade, serving as director of Northern Mexico operations for Road 9 and spending eight years as executive vice president of data storage company Millenniata Inc. As a serial entrepreneur with an accomplished record in the RV travel space, Mr. Decker is a member of the Airstream Dealer Council, the RVIA and the RVDA. Airstream of Utah was honored as Utah’s Best RV Dealership in 2022 and the Best RV Dealership in Salt Lake City in 2021, with both company locations remaining examples of the commitment to customer satisfaction established with his first business. Mr. Decker is proud to have built a series of family companies and created the opportunity to pass them along to his children and grandchildren. In the coming years, he hopes to focus more on RV resort development, with plans for a second location in the Yellowstone area. DENNIS F.
