Founded in 2004 by her mother, she joined the company alongside her younger sister in 2018. Ms. Cooley is largely responsible for handling storefront operations, managing and training her employees, and leading social media drives. Drawing inspiration from the providence of her religious faith, she is most notably proud to include a Bible verse on every cup, and she is grateful to be able to bring happiness and satisfaction to the community. Among her accomplishments, Ms. Cooley is particularly gratified to have transitioned from her career in education to entrepreneurship, which took a great deal of bravery and has imbued her with a wealth of confidence. In accounting for her success, she largely credits her diligent work ethic. Looking toward the future, Ms. Cooley hopes to continue serving the best products to her community and to remain open to new ideas that can improve her business. Specializing in retail operations, Brooke English Guy lends nearly a decade of professional experience to her role as general manager at Coastal Chevrolet Cadillac Nissan. Demonstrating an innate acumen for business management, her rise to a leadership role within the company serves as a testament to both her aptitude and steadfast commitment to excellence. Beginning as an accountant assistant in 2013 and rising to become a general manager in 2022, Ms. Guy is responsible for leading the company’s efforts in supporting the Pawleys Island community, placing a great emphasis on contributing to initiatives that leave a lasting impact. In addition to its charitable activities, the dealership does much to support food drives and after-school programs. Well-regarded for her accomplishments, Ms. Guy is proud to have been named among the Top 40 Under 40 by Automotive News in 2022 and of her accomplishments as a woman in a male-dominated industry. She credits her success to her commitment to acquiring the skills necessary to excel, as well as the encouragement and support she has received from her father, mentors and colleagues.
