Additionally, he previously operated alongside the National Safety Council, where he was a delegate to the board of directors from 2017 to 2021. Mr. Bates first sought an education in business management at the University of Findlay, where he earned a BS in 2003. Following this accomplishment, he pivoted his studies toward environmental health and safety management, receiving an MS in 2005 and an MBA in organizational leadership in 2007. Well-qualified in his field, he was also recognized with an associate safety professional designation via the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2020. Highly sought after for his expertise, Mr. Bates has published numerous articles through such publications as Authority Magazine, ISHN Magazine and EHS Today, the latter of which listed him as one of their 50 People Who Most Influenced EHS in 2015. A s a passionate advocate for thoughtprovoking leadership, Adam L. Bates has found success in his role at Vibrantz Technologies, a global manufacturer of specialty minerals and chemicals for a wide range of applications.
