With a demonstrated history of success in the farming industry, he leverages his skills in negotiation, agrochemicals, customer service and strategic planning as the owner of Apex Agronomix LLC. Based in Owensville, Indiana, the company is well-regarded for providing customers and clients with a wide variety of critical agronomical services. In his leadership position, Mr. Jochim works directly with farmers to address their needs, focusing on financial consulting, crop disease management and insect control. In addition to his primary professional efforts, which he began in 2019, Mr. Jochim has also excelled as the owner of Travis Jochim Farms since 2016. Additionally, from 2019 to 2023, he was the owner and lead sales agronomist at Novus Ag. Ever committed to his profession, he also remains active as a member of the American Society of Agronomy. Additionally, he is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Jochim pursued a formal education, attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale and earning a Bachelor of Science in plant and soil science in 2002. In addition to his academic credentials, he also holds pertinent certifications in his industry, having previously received his crop adviser license. Throughout his time in the field, Mr. Jochim has largely attributed his accomplishments to his personal drive.
