He continued his commitment to his alma mater as the president of the Regent University Alumni Association Dallas-Fort Worth chapter. Mr. Sims is proud to have recently celebrated FusionFlix’s 30-year anniversary. In accounting for his success, he largely credits his Christian faith. Within the coming years, Mr. Sims intends to create more movies and documentaries, releasing them to theaters. He is also inspired toward innovating in the space of virtual reality, advancing more significant projects each year and guaranteeing the continued longevity of his company. He is currently producing “Miracle on the Precipice,” a wilderness survival movie inspired by John Bunyan’s, “The Pilgrim’s Progress.” With principal photography complete, the film is planned for a theatrical release in 2025. Nathan Todd Sims, founder and president of Fusion Productions Inc. (aka FusionFlix Entertainment), leverages more than three decades of excellence as a director, producer and writer, creating memorable and unique creative works with global reach and impact. Since 1990, he has focused his efforts on producing original feature films, factual TV series and documentaries. Over the course of his career, Mr. Sims has created hundreds of projects, securing 37 Telly Awards and several film festival awards for his stellar work on notable projects like the theatrical feature film, “Echoes of Innocence,” the factual series, “Space Mistakes: How NASA Failures Further Exploration,” and the documentary, “Thirst: Mission Liberia.” While developing his company, Mr. Sims was the founder, charter board member and legislative chairman for the Texas Motion Picture Alliance. He also served as the president of the Dallas Producers Association, having also been on the board of directors. Under his leadership, the latter group increased its membership by more than 120% and tripled its revenue. Prior to these roles, he began his career as a news director of a radio station, was a disk jockey, and worked in professional theatre.
