113 Millennium - Seventeenth Edition ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT ARTIST Lascelles Art Tucson, AZ ARTIST Marler’s Photo & Art LLC Hartville, MO SUSAN LASCELLES Supported by a formative love of artistic expression, Susan Lascelles currently works as an artist with Lascelles Art. Based in Tucson, Arizona, she specializes in painting and stained glass, having notably created two contemporary stained glass murals, titled “Eros” and “Thanatos,” for a 500-year-old home in Switzerland. Throughout her career, she has exhibited her work in group shows across the world, and her work is represented in permanent collections at the Corning Museum of Glass Film Library; Empire State College in Saratoga Springs, New York; Färber Hüsli in Hallau, Switzerland; Fred and Pat Crain in Mechanicsburg, Ohio; Min Fang Liu in Yokohama, Japan; and Michael DiCenzo in San Jose, California. Ms. Lascelles earned a BA in fine art at Empire State College in 1990. Outside of her primary efforts, she was a contributing artist for SwissGalerie.ch in Switzerland and has donated paintings to charitable endeavors. A member of the World Wildlife Fund in her spare time, she intends to continue exhibiting her artwork in the coming years. To wit, she will be represented at a retrospective exhibit at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. A versatile artist with a diverse range of experience in mediums such as pastels, watercolor, pencil drawings and oil paintings, Dr. Jimmie Lee Marler has found success in selling and commissioning artwork through his business, Marler’s Photo & Art LLC. Dabbling in artistic expression during his youth, his portfolio has since expanded to include nearly 15,000 individual pieces, 2,000 of which have been donated to charity. Among his most dearly held accomplishments, Dr. Marler is particularly proud to have had his work featured in the book “Art from Leonardo da Vinci Today,” which includes the work of over 240 renowned artists. Outside of his achievements as an artist, Dr. Marler also distinguished himself as an adjunct professor at Drury University and Southwest Baptist University, where he taught mathematics and computer science. During this time, his teaching skills were highly regarded by both his colleagues and the student body, who benefited from his vast knowledge and expertise in multiple disciplines. Looking toward the future, Dr. Marler aspires to continue drawing on behalf of various clients, as well as exhibit his work abroad. JIMMIE LEE MARLER, PHD
