118 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Mary “Polly” Whittell has cultivated a fulfilling career as a creative editor, writer and journalist. Particularly well-versed in researching and writing content pertaining to travel and leisure activities, she has worked with numerous noteworthy brands and corporations over the course of her career, including Hearst Communications Inc., Powerboat Magazine, Ski Magazine Skier’s Guides, and Dun & Bradstreet Publications. Furthermore, she has remained active as a member of Boating Writers International and the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Whittell pursued a formal education, earning a BA in English at the University of California, Berkeley and later completing postgraduate coursework in publishing and journalism at Radcliffe College and Columbia University, respectively. In her civic-minded efforts, she participates in various charitable events with organizations such as the American Cancer Society Inc. and the Youth Counseling League in New York City. Among her notable publications, Ms. Whittell appeared as a contributing author in the anthology “Against the Sea.” To commemorate her achievements, she was honored with an Environmental Award from Boating Writers International. Particularly well-versed in entertainment marketing, he serves as a partner and creative director of The Refinery AV, a leading film and television marketing enterprise that hosts creative campaigns for a variety of popular shows and movies. In his leadership roles, Mr. Winn primarily oversees his company’s audio and visual division, as well as the digital content division. Mr. Winn previously excelled as the vice president of creative film services at Disney between 2007 and 2008. Furthermore, he was a senior producer and editor at Trailer Park from 2002 to 2007. At the onset of his career, he worked with FX Networks between 1995 and 1996. Among the many credits to his name, Mr. Winn notably operated as a co-director, producer and editor for “My Date With Drew” in 2005. Mr. Winn has been honored with numerous accolades, including several Clio Awards, PROMAC Awards and Golden Trailer Awards. Attributing his success to his optimism and perseverance, he is abundantly proud to have mastered the art of creating film and television trailers.
