Vidaurreta is an entrepreneur and executive who prioritizes balancing optimal growth with a positive workplace culture. Born in Cuba, he began his education in the United States by receiving an Associate of Arts in business from Miami Dade College. He subsequently earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and management at the Florida International University College of Business in 1980. In conclusion of his early studies, he achieved a Master of Business Administration in organizational behavior studies at the University of Florida in 1984. Throughout his career, Mr. Vidaurreta has pursued many opportunities for growth and continuing education, recognizing the fast pace of business evolution. To wit, he recently completed a certification in Internet of Things technologies through the MIT Sloan School of Management. Mr. Vidaurreta’s career has been notably marked by his ability to transition successfully between industries, having explored opportunities in the real estate, banking, hospitality and plastics manufacturing sectors over more than 20 years. His professional journey began in circulation management for the Miami Herald Publishing Company in 1972, and he transitioned into systems consulting for Andersen Business Consulting (now Accenture) in the early 1980s. In 1988, he broke off and founded The Systems Consulting Group alongside one of his colleagues, building the company to a team of more than 220 consultants and a $30 million valuation in just seven years. After selling The Systems Consulting Group, Mr. Vidaurreta spent three years as the vice president of Latin American and Southeast United States markets for Cambridge Technology Partners; at the time, the enterprise was recognized as one of the fastest-growing Fortune 500 companies. He ultimately departed from the business in order to focus on independent entrepreneurship and investment, culminating in his co-founding of Top Secret Nutrition in 2010.
