Over the next five years, he plans to continue company expansion and transition his focus to a board-level advisory role. Mr. Garcia-Salamone’s success was born from hard work, and his rise from difficult circumstances impressed on him the value of professional education, training and mentorship. He remains on the programming board of StartOut and is active in outreach for children, youth and LGBT community projects. Moving forward, he hopes to be able to provide more coaching and resources to emerging and would-be entrepreneurs, with the eventual goal of launching a business accelerator under the Tentho brand. For more than 20 years, Giuseppe A. Garcia-Salamone has followed his passion for accounting, business leadership and entrepreneurship into successful roles with companies around the world. He began his journey in the early 2000s, discovering his interest in accounting working for AOL’s accounts payable division while studying at the University of South Florida. After completing a BA in international studies in 2005, he continued to pursue accounting roles with Atradius and Chase, pausing his career in 2007 to travel and teach English internationally. On returning to the United States in 2010, Mr. Garcia-Salamone worked to merge his love of accounting with the soft skills and cross-cultural perspectives that he acquired while teaching. He earned an MS in accounting at Southern New Hampshire University and later excelled as a controller for Care Resource Community Health Centers and as an account manager for Stride. He then entered executive leadership and coaching roles as a StartOut business mentor and board treasurer for the Aqua Foundation for Women. In 2017, Mr. Garcia-Salamone co-founded Tentho, a firm providing contract payroll, accounting, tax and CFO advisory consulting services to clients across numerous industries. GIUSEPPE A.
