15 Millennium - Seventeenth Edition ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION AND REAL ESTATE Prior to his current role in property management, Mr. Dambrie flew planes for over 25 years as a line pilot at Delta Air Lines Inc. From 1978 until his retirement in 2005, he conducted a number of flights over Central and South America, as well as to Hawaii. During this time, he delighted in the sublime vistas of some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world. Previously, Mr. Dambrie served as a fighter pilot on behalf of the United States Navy, an unparalleled experience that lasted approximately 10 years. In more recent years, he has also contributed to aerial operations with the Maine National Guard. Mr. Dambrie initially studied bacteriology, with a minor in chemistry, at the University of Maine, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1970. Following this accomplishment, he received a master’s degree in pulp and paper technology. During the course of his academic efforts, he was inducted into the honorable society of Phi Eta Kappa. Known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Mr. Dambrie is a strident advocate for the aviation industry, constantly working to guide younger generations toward careers in the field. Likewise, he is a prolific donor on behalf of those in need. Outside of his professional efforts, Mr. Dambrie underwent a spiritual transformation in 2020 and became a “born again” Christian. This profound experience opened his eyes to a new way of living and has since influenced every aspect of his life. In addition to his newfound faith, he enjoys such favored pastimes as flying, motorboating, lifting weights, reading and cooking. In accounting for his success, Mr. Dambrie credits his persistence and undying passion for flying, as well as his penchant for persevering in the face of whatever challenges come his way. In the coming years, he hopes to continue his work in developing a 10-unit apartment complex on Main Street in Berlin, New Hampshire.
