Additionally, she has held leadership positions with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services and a strategy analyst role at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Since 2020, Ms. Walker has also operated as the executive director of Actium Inc., where her focus remains on business analysis and optimization. She is honored to see the impact that her work in child support enforcement has had on families and communities and hopes to build a child support practice with her company in the coming years. In her personal time, Ms. Walker is active in her community as a member and volunteer for Lake Christian Ministries and a supporter of area Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Jamie Walker Tuggle has dedicated her career to serving others by merging her management and technology skills with her talent for communication and passion for human services. Inspired by her father, she studied information management systems at the University of Virginia, earning a Bachelor of Science in commerce in 1986. She then began her career as a systems analyst for Mobil Oil but quickly recognized her interest in process improvement, as well as her ability to act as a liaison between technical teams, executive management and other stakeholders. Ms. Walker transitioned into project management in the early 1990s and entered the human services field in 1995 as an initiative director for the State of New Mexico Child Support Enforcement team. She continued to develop her expertise in working with state child support enforcement departments over the next decade, partnering with the Texas Attorney General, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
