Born in Germany, he immigrated to the United States in his youth and joined the United States Army in 1969. While in the military, he earned a BSBA at the University of Nebraska Omaha. After retiring from the U.S. Army in 1990, he continued his education, achieving an MBA at Averett University and a PhD in logistics management at Willington University. As the executive vice president of Lite-Check Fleet Solutions Inc., Dr. Amacher oversees strategic planning and relationship building while manaing the company’s top-level professionals. He is also the founder and chief executive officer of NorthStar Meta Group International and has served as chairman of the board since 2008. Dr. Amacher looks forward to winding down his professional career in the coming years but remains committed to ensuring the long-term success of Lite-Check Fleet Solutions. As he approaches retirement, he plans to transition into short-term consulting projects with key organizations and international clients, including the governments of Nigeria, Madagascar, and the United Arab Emirates.
