210 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION organization’s inability to meet the needs of Chinese immigrant students, however, Mr. Ni developed his own curriculum and launched ivyGoal in 2012. Though he initially struggled, he is grateful to have ultimately persevered and overcome various challenges in shepherding ivyGoal toward success. Among his most significant accomplishments, Mr. Ni is particularly proud to have created a curriculum methodology that benefits nonEuropean language learners worldwide. Through hard work and dedication, he and his team have authored 20 books for students ranging from the pre-kindergarten learning level to high school on this very subject. Looking toward the future, Mr. Ni plans to expand the reach of his invention and methodology throughout the education industry, and he hopes that non-European ESL education can gain further recognition, allowing students to avoid European or Latin-based methodologies that may not be suitable for their needs. Having accrued more than 25 years of experience, Nick Ni has distinguished himself as the chief executive officer of the ivyGoal International Education Group. The educational services company offers a unique teaching system that has received plaudits from various municipal governments and schools throughout the United States. At present, ivyGoal utilizes physical learning centers in Vancouver, Spain, China and California, as well as various online learning options. Well-regarded for his accomplishments, Mr. Ni specializes in teaching non-European English as a second language, and he has contributed to over 40 textbooks on the subjects of English and mathematics. Mr. Ni initially studied English language and literature at Central China Normal University in 1991, after which he immigrated to the United States. He subsequently attained a Bachelor of Science in architecture at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he also graduated with a Master of Science in computer science in 2002. After working in several fields, including architecture and information technology, he excelled in business-to-business sales for several years until the economic downturn of 2008. Returning to education, Mr. Ni purchased a Sylvan Learning Center in March 2008. The facility quickly rose to the top 1% in the country under his leadership.
