Seeking a job that would allow her to remain close to her family, she subsequently pursued a local real estate program and began a new career path. Well-regarded for her accomplishments, Ms. Comer was awarded the Broker Excellence Award in 2019 from her company, and she has been a member of the Masters Circle for over 30 years. She also serves on the professional standards committee for the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors. In a career suffused with highlights, Ms. Comer is particularly proud to have raised a wonderful family. Alongside her husband, she is the loving mother of two daughters, through whom she has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Attributing much of her success to her passion for honesty and high-quality service, she looks forward to future work on behalf of agents and clients, as well as deepening her knowledge of the constantly changing field of real estate. Driven by a deep desire to help her clients become homeowners, Vicki Comer has found success in her role as a managing principal broker at BHH Affiliates LLC. The company operates as a subsidiary of HomeServices of America and a franchisee of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. Having initially joined Berkshire Hathaway in 2013, Ms. Comer has since garnered a laudable reputation for her work ethic, professionalism and discipline in service to her clients. Praised for her skills in negotiation and building effective relationships with clients, she previously worked on behalf of Prudential Northwest Properties as a sales associate and principal broker from 1990 until 2013. Beginning her career in education, Ms. Comer studied physical education and health at Oregon State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1968. Following this accomplishment, she worked as a teacher at various schools, including Lebanon High School, Marshfield High School, and the American high school in Vicenza, Italy. Switching to the banking sector after 1975, she served as an administrative assistant at Far West Federal Bank between 1980 and 1989.
