80 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT earning a BA in political economy at Williams College in 1976. He subsequently continued his studies at the School of Law at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he achieved a JD in 1979. Ever committed to his profession, Mr. Clark has also remained affiliated with the Adler Planetarium Board of Trustees since 2006. Likewise, he previously participated as a member of the West Northfield School District 31 Board of Education from 1991 to 1999. To commemorate his achievements, Mr. Clark has been honored with numerous accolades, including several Lifetime Achievement Awards. He recently received a nomination for Best New Work for his play, “When Harry Met Rehab,” at The Joseph Jefferson Awards in Chicago in 2022. Based on the true story of one of Mr. Clark’s family friends, the play will be appearing offBroadway beginning in 2024. In his other creative endeavors, he also authored his 2021 book, “Summary Judgement: A Lawyer’s Memoir.” Drawing upon more than 40 years of practiced expertise, Donald C. Clark Jr. has cultivated a career of excellence as a multifaceted professional. Specializing in the fields of law and entertainment, he currently serves as the co-owner of the Chicago Magic Lounge, having taken on his leadership role in 2016. In his current role, Mr. Clark focuses on producing meaningful stories with high entertainment value to audiences. He previously operated as the acting president and general counsel for the Chicago Theological Seminary between 2017 and 2018. As a legal professional, Mr. Clark previously focused on religion clause jurisprudence and constitutional law, especially as it pertains to the First Amendment. To wit, from 2001 to 2015, he was the general counsel and nationwide special counsel for the United Church of Christ. In his other legal pursuits, he notably excelled as a founding partner of Clark & DeGrand from 1990 to 2001. In his earliest endeavors, Mr. Clark was a litigation partner with Isham, Lincoln & Beale from 1979 to 1988 and with McDermott Will & Emery between 1988 and 1990.
