Her dream and goal have been to launch an artist-inresidence program within her studio, aiming to provide a low-technology retreat where selected artists can focus on creating a body of work over a period of several weeks. Ms. Kozyuk attributes her success to her determination and focus on self-improvement. To wit, she advises others that discipline is crucial to finding success in a creative field. She is an avid reader and proponent of independent study, and she enjoys seeking out motivational books and speakers as inspiration for personal growth. She is the recipient of more than 20 audience and jury prizes for her paintings and has donated work for sale to benefit a number of charities, including a project serving children in Ukraine. Gallerist and painter Khrystyna Kozyuk has enjoyed international acclaim for her work for more than a decade. Naturally creative and inspired by her grandfather’s artistic pursuits, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in design from Ukrainian National Forestry University. She has been painting professionally since 2012, in addition to maintaining her own professional practice, and she is best known for her largescale abstract oil works on canvas. Ms. Kozyuk emphasizes that the core of her work is her emotional and personal inspiration, explaining her desire to paint as ideas come, rather than painting from life. She has completed ten solo shows to date, and she has been included in group shows around the world, including at the 2020 Luxembourg Art Fair, the Polish Museum of America and the Ukrainian National Museum. Her work was exhibited at the Paris Art Expo, New York Expo, SOFA Chicago, and Spectrum Miami Art, and she is represented in numerous private and institutional collections.
